Longines has released a new titanium version of its Spirit Flyback chronograph. The watch is essentially the same as the stainless steel model, but with a few key differences.
The case is made of grade 5 titanium, which is lighter and stronger than stainless steel. The dial is a dark anthracite gray color with a subtle sunray finish. The hands and accents are bronze-colored, and the chronograph seconds hand has a bright red tip.
The watch is powered by the Caliber L791.4 automatic flyback chronograph movement, which is COSC-certified. The movement has a power reserve of approximately 68 hours.
The watch is available on either a NATO-style strap or a matching grade 5 titanium bracelet. The titanium bracelet is $350 more expensive than the strap.
The titanium Longines Spirit Flyback is priced at $4,850 USD on a strap and $5,200 USD on a bracelet. This is a fair price for a titanium flyback chronograph from a big-name luxury brand.
