Tissot PRX Powermatic 80

Tissot PRX Powermatic

The Tissot PRX is a popular watch that was revived in 2021. It is available in a variety of sizes, including 35mm. Some collectors wanted a 35mm PRX with an automatic movement, and Tissot has now released two new models in ice blue and gold to meet this demand.

The new watches are identical to the existing 35mm PRX Powermatic 80 models in terms of dimensions, materials, and functionality. They have stainless steel cases that measure 35mm in diameter and 10.9mm thick. They also have flat sapphire crystals, signed push/pull crowns, pressure-fit casebacks with sapphire display windows, integrated bracelets, and water resistance of 100 meters.

The dials of the new watches feature a "waffle" style pattern, applied baton-style markers, and a date window at the 3 o'clock location. The stainless steel model with the ice blue dial has polished steel hands and indexes, while the gold version has yellow gold-finished hands and markers. Both dials have black printing for their text and minute tracks, and small white Super-LumiNova accents on the hands and hour markers.

The new watches are powered by the Tissot Powermatic 80 movement, which is based on the ETA 2824. It has an extended power reserve of 80 hours.

The stainless steel model with the ice blue dial is priced at $695 USD, while the gold version costs $825 USD.

The addition of these two new models to the Tissot PRX lineup is likely to further drive interest in the already popular series.
